PASTURED POULTRY
(AVAILABLE NOW!)

We've added more brooders and schooners to deliver more birds raised on lush pasture. They put in the work to grow and fertilize the land, then we humanely process them in the same field. We use every part of the bird, nothing goes to waste.

WHAT MAKES THIS CHICKEN SPECIAL?

THEIR IMPACT ON THE LAND

In our practices, it is important to keep plants growing and well nourished. Our chickens spend 5-6 weeks on pasture, and everyday they are moved to a new patch of land to forage for plants and insects and leave their waste behind. After a few weeks you start to see the impact as they eat and lay down old plants and make room for new! Their diverse diet leads to a more nutritious animal for you.

HONORING THEIR LIFE

Although their life is short, it is intentional. We are grateful for the work these chickens do to rebuild soil health. We care for them in a low-stress environment with access to sun, shade, water and feed. At the end of their life, we use the most humane practices pioneered by Scientist Mary Temple Grandin. They are processed on-site so there is no stressful transportation and we can deliver a fresh and healthy bird to you as soon as possible!

GOOD FOR THEM, GOOD FOR YOU

All 3 Springs chickens are moved daily to fresh pasture and have a diet of plants, insects, and organic non-GMO feed. Their healthy eating translates into more available nutrients for you!
